For there to be good there must be evil. A balance must be struck. A level must be kept.

One
To the heart
Two
To the chest
Upon you
All shall fall
Brutal the end
Death
I kill you again
Dare I confess
If need be
Many more
You are deserving
And I
Am offering
It’s the most
That can be done
Absolution
I won’t half ass it
I won’t take it lightly
Seriousness
Is what I admire most
With regard to myself
No doubt
Without question
I will be judged
God
So damn high above
Will look down
Upon us both
The victim
And the victimizer
In you
He’ll see grace
Truth
And beauty
In me
He’ll know
Hatred
Inequality
And an inequity
That has persisted
Regardless of life
Despite damnation
He’ll know
Without question
That in his kingdom
I simply don’t belong
I’m hedging my bets
The house always wins
There always must be evil
In order
For there to any good
The creator of us all
Assured me of that
Lessons learned hard
Those so righteous
Seem to be
Infallible beast
But be assured
They are mostly creature
And all kind of monster
I kill you again
Dead
Quick
Brutal
Absolute in truth
Never come back
As I always remain
Burdened by my sins
But increasingly
Doing the same thing
I just won’t learn
What it is that you
Know quite well
I’ll never see
Any form of light
Just darkness
Obliqueness
Just the tragedy
Of consequence
I kill you again
As many times
As it takes
Failing you
Would be a disservice
To all human kind
I’d be lying
And I often am
If I was to say
That in some way
I didn’t enjoy it
Reveling the fact
That I have taken
What God has given
Pseudo revenge
Upon the instigator
Of all that I myself
Have come to lament
It’s my way of dealing
With all that I lack
And all that I am
Without question
Incapable of…
