Celebrating our 30th Anniversary on an out-of-the-way place was worth the effort.
What days of grace upon the place,
that we have come to see
As our new home of restful days
in marshy lands so free!

The Little Saint Simons Isle,
a wondrous nature school
Can teach you many things awhile,
then cool you off in pool.

The roads are very rustic there,
but fireside's the place
To feast great meals without a care
for chef's do kitchen grace.

The crickets and the birds do tune
each morn and eve alike,
So, sit awhile and lately swoon
or ride to beach on bike. *EggO*

You may yet want to toast your friend
at public tap that flows,
As lazy hours do stories lend
and sleepy eyelids close.

But take you note of bottles near
all doors to the outside,
For 'skeeters buzz and cause you fear
to drink from tap, your hide.

In gift shop there is hope for this,
Columbia-LSSI,
The long-sleeved shirt for this I kiss
the mosquitoes, "Goodbye!"

The days and nights of lasting joy are wondrous in my mind,
I thank the staff and each employ, who helped the stay feel kind.
