I often think of the world as a storybook. This is a short blurb about this.
I have come to think, that the world is a storybook. The largest storybook you can find. Filled with stories of adventure, love, pain, sorrow. Times of grief, joy, and hope. People who have been through unimaginable things- only, they are real. Just think about your own life. You have been through a lot, faced many things, but you have also learned a lot, and loved many. Think of specific times in your life, people, places and circumstances, that make you who you are. But you are not the only one, on this rollercoaster of life. Others are riding the same ride. Going through the unpredictable pattern of human existence. Think of your whole town. Anyone you know, anyone you may not know but see often. They are in a way, masked. You can not see their heart, or their feelings. Their story is hidden. But I know how to turn the page. All you have to do is realize this.
If you are in pain, you are not alone.
If you are joyful, you are not alone.
If you are lost, you are not alone.
If you are searching for something, you are not alone.
Every living thing has a story. Filled with elements not unlike your own tale. You may not see what is going on in peoples minds, but I promise you, they are feeling the very same feelings you are. Now instead of your whole town, picture your whole state, then your country, then your continent, then- the world, all having similar circumstances. It maybe not for the same reasons. Maybe not at the same time. But if you realize that so many others have had, are currently experiencing, or may have in the future, the same feelings and problems you are having, suddenly the world does not seem so big. Suddenly you do not feel so alone in your experiences. Suddenly you feel closer to the human race. Whether or not you're feeling content, joyous, sorrowful, frustrated, or angry right now, we are all still a part of the same storybook. So look to your friends and family, and anyone you meet as fellow characters in the storybook of life.
