When a poem expresses itself, it's something to think about.
Careless curiosity watching and seeing
Seltzer gurgling, bubbling, spewing over
One’s closeness never understood
Not heeding the warnings
Not knowing history’s choice

Impactful plumage for a pitted fall
Staying afar or being close and near
Fearful direction no matter the silence
A gleaming portion for a gambler’s care
Never recognizing the special sound

Warnings understood for what could be
Sensing to stay away but compelled to see
Calm as present as fear
Nature’s fury bringing history’s fate
Ordered up like thunder that accompanies rain

A plundering plume warning against any misstep
Like an endless wildfire with no one to blame
A furnace by osmosis under review
Still and silent rumbling gore
Even when nothing is happening much is certain
