ALMOST ALADDIN

There were times,
When kith and kin,
Were with us to see through,
Thick and thin.

Times changed the values,
And values changed the race-
If bad is the new good,
Then, good has a new face.

The race have evolved for sure,
Belching to a new life-
With profound web of humanity,
Sharing the planet, to survive.

To fake a survival,
Transient from birth,
We devised means
To veil the Earth.

With no kith or kin, we live like Aladdin,
A lamp to rub, a genie to ask,
Connect once and friends come free-
Love comes though, wearing a mask.
