A Hindu Guard Killed in Rangpur

The miscreants killed a Hindu guard with sharp weapon at Lalbag in Ragpur. The incident took place on Sunday night at around 10 O’clock.
The victim Atul Chandra aged 50 was an inhabitant of Khatkahti area. He was a guard of ATM Booth of Pubali Bank.
SI (Investigation) Azizul Islam informed that on the way back home Atul encountered a few miscreants who stopped him.
At a certain point of time they engaged scuffle while miscreants started striking him on his hands and chest with sharp weapon. He also informed that people came to rescue by hearing his cry for help but by the time the miscreants fled away.
Atul got seriously wounded and died on the way to hospital.
