Searched for by all...
Found only by a chosen few.
Like an eccentric episode of Survivor,
With battles for supremacy by dueling teams
Using only ice, sticks, and a puck.
We know in the end there can be only one;
So let the battle begin,
And let's talk about the will to win
To prove who's really the best...
To see which names are etched in metal,
And who tastes the sting of defeat.
The beginning has only now arrived-
Delivering the season of battle
Over the chalice of Lord Stanley.
Our Boys in Blue will ensure tales
Of grandeur, daring, and hope;
So, with glasses raised, I proudly proclaim
A toast to the Boys in Blue...


Gather 'round for hockey's now here!
Blueshirt faithful, let's give a cheer!
Offer toasts for the brave Boys in Blue,
And sing of the deeds you know they'll do.

Come worship Henrik the King-
Of his great deeds you'll oft' sing.
All you mere peasants who dare enter

(Even those called Girardi and Staal.)

So now a new season begins;
Other teams must pay for their sins.
Our boys will keep fighting their way back;
May they always be on the attack.
