Touring Ghosts

     “What’s that?” Panan was pointing at a phone sitting on the side table just inside the large entrance into the Living Area of the haunted house they were in.

     “That’s an old fashion dialphone,” said Florrana. She was the Tour Director for a group of fifty people from several different planets in that Sector of Space. They were on a six-month tour visiting every haunted house on the planet of ReOn.

     Florrana continued, “You are going to find a lot of phones like this one on ReOn. As you already know almost every planet has Ghosts. They also have a lot of haunted houses too. But no other planet has as many haunted houses, and ghosts, like what you have seen so far, and are going to see, on ReOn. That’s why we started these tours thirteen years ago. We are very proud of our haunted houses – and are ghosts.”

     After taking a breath, or two, Florrana continued, “This particular haunted house can get very cold – especially at night. There is a blanket for each one of you just inside the front door if you need one.”

     “You might also see a black cat too, said Florrana. “I haven’t seen any here yet. But there are several of them in this haunted house.”

     Some the tourist went back to get a blanket. Then they returned to look over the Living Area. All of them were also looking for any black cats that might be there too.

     After a few minutes of letting the tourist look around the Living Area Florrana said, “We need to move on. There is still a lot of this house to see. And we have three more haunted houses in this village to see before it gets dark.”
