Some of us believe in one purpose/meaning so strongly that all else is pushed aside.

One
Just above
None
Less than
Two
More than
Nothing
Número uno
No other
No more
A significant
Something
Solemn
Is the idea
Lone
Is the purpose
A single entity
In a world
Of vastly many
Monothematic
A delusional
Hyper realistic
Preclusion
Keeping me
From myself
And all else
Spiritually
Unidentifiable
Is the illusion
Living like this
A fool’s errand
A greater place
Of lesser waste
Ideally
I’m expecting
Truthfully
I’m resenting
Monothematic
One
Just me
No one
Nothing else
No one to worry
Nothing to fear
Just
A particular topic
More God
Than any other
I can’t let it go
More
I must know
All of it
Everything
Wound into
Nothing
Quickly attached
To my soul
Part of my growth
A symbiotic
Symptomatic parasite
Feasting upon
The core
Of who I am
And what it is
That I stand for
Allowing no room
For anything else
All consuming
Is this succubus
All embracing
Is such a delusion
Monothematic
One
Just above
None
Less than
Two
More than
Nothing
Número uno
No other
No more
A significant
Something
Solemn
Is the idea
Lone
Is the purpose
A single entity
In a world
Of vastly many
I’ll fight the scene
Tear at the seams
Until I get there
Until it all
Becomes quite clear
Until everything
Is finite and precise
Monothematic…
