Beyond The Mask #4

I'm still at the lake, and each step is scaring the hell out of me. It feels like the whole world is looking at me with their judgemental eyes, laughing at every single thing I think of. It's horrible to be out in the open again. In a country where so much has happened, so much blood shed. Jesus! They might get me right now, but just before they do, I have to let you know...

I have been a CIA agent for five years now, and each day behind their walls has been one more step towards my transformation to this...a monster. It was the reason why I was recruited, or I guess I should say, claimed by the American government. But, I don't mind about that much, I'd rather be here than behind Russian bars.
They showed me no mercy regardless the fact that I was only 5 years old. It was the same torture, the same work as everybody else in my department. The department X. Where they kept all the psychos, crazies and wierdos who were unlucky enough to be born as I was , 'genius'. We were treated as lab rats for two years, receiving pain suppressing, brain boosting, and cardio-rising injections just to see if we reacted as normal people. For heaven's sake! We had human skin, human eyes, human everything!! but we were still treated as some kind of aliens.
I had never been pierced before, and my two years there made me believe I was right not to want the atrocity on my body. The pain hurt like a million insect bites. I felt every needle five times a day for two years in my tiny black cell.
