Winter's Edge

Standing on a ledge,
Right on Winter's Edge,
Waiting for the snow.

Leaves will be falling,
Birds will be calling,
Autumn sun aglow.

Weather's bitter cold,
Trees are brown and gold,
Frozen winds will blow.

Winter's coming soon,
But this afternoon.
The river will flow.
