About a crush
This is not to say that I know how you feel
and not to show what I wish u did
but only to capture this one instance and seal
you as you are.

This is not to say that I know who you are
and not to show who I wish you were
but only to celebrate the impression you left
oh so delicately on me.

I do not assume to know you
your soul, I'm sure, is far more complex
but the most interesting shapes dance around
imprinted on the little flecks
that show most readily.
