Nature's symphony at Dalhousie, INDIA |
Change, a sweet change ... miles away from Delhi ... into a charming day, Is here at Jalandhar today, with a golden sun welcoming our stay. Soon came rain's blessings a scorched earth turned refreshing, Delight were Punjab's greens fields blooming with produces were enlivening. Leaving Jalandhar behind Himachal took off with elegance, To complement was a stream meandering with eloquence. Rugged went the terrain Nurpur crossed, Songs from stones and pebbles still had our untamed ears awed. But conifers steadily grew in numbers passing to the whispering winds their invitation. Amazed at seeing them scaling heights we suddenly reached Dalhousie, our destination. Later, light and shade donned a sky-FEST Twilight it was then, as the day was about to rest. Next day, GOOD MORNING said the snow clad mountain peeking through the window pane and curtains we left open. Plankton clinging to trunks, with ferns dancing to and fro, sounds sonorous. Pines, Oaks, Deodars Dalhousie, they make you a queen, gorgeous. Vividly green, with trees ascending, a nameless rivulet endlessly sings. From huts down in the valley, smoke bellowing rising to the sailing clouds, it always seeks. Bends galore along tortuous tracks, constantly keep you guessing. With nature on a symphony at Dalhousie you can always expect more in the offering. |
