Loving someone to such an extent, it completes you.

The whiff of the intoxicating scent. Those eyes which made their way into a deep corner of my being, some place which I thought was long gone. The prickling proximity that pleaded to be closed. Everything was just tailored perfectly to bring the evening to an end, a beginning to very hopeful future. Our lips met, it wasn’t a slow soft kiss. It was hard, intense, carnal maybe. Almost unwillingly, the kiss broke off, while we gasped and looked at each other, trying to measure the trouble we might have got ourselves into. Its rightfully said, that trouble no matter how bad or worse it gets later, everybody willingly takes the risk, hoping it doesn’t turn out as bad as they think it will be. And we weren’t any different.

Fingers interlocked, bodies pulled into a side embrace while we closed in on each other, again and again. Each time with more passion, more heat and need. The breeze played through our hair, made things, if possible, more intense at that point. My heart raced manically, within me, desperate to pour out everything I felt. Precisely at that moment, our eyes warily darted off in the direction of the waiter who approached us apprehensively. After quickly clearing our orders, he scurried off at the pace of a baby cheetah, leaving us blissfully alone. I couldn’t remember the last time I felt this way, the urge to hold someone so close, that I might melt onto them. The need amplified with his touch, and left me feeling bereft when his fingers slid off.

The minutes passed by into the late hours of the night. All that remained was the charge between us, electrifying and immeasurable. Unwillingly we extricated ourselves from each other, walking back through the silent lobby towards the lifts, all the while holding hands. Intoxicated sure, I was a little light headed to walk straight and slumped right into him. While he held me close and upright, je surreptitiously slipped out his phone. Immortalizing the night on his phone, we made our way to the cab, my personal carriage from hell. While the cab drove through to my room, I fervently prayed to the heavens to not let this be our last. Wished madly for this feeling to never end. Hoped for something with this gorgeous man next to me, something permanent. Something solid and eternal.

To my love Bubkush, you have made me the happiest and the luckiest girl alive. I never want to stop feeling like this. Just hope I make it to my last breathe, with you. I love you.
