Because he is hidden

No one knows him for what he truly is. He has hid himself behind layers of false personality. People try to peer into the darkness that covers who he is. Most of them look away, unable to understand what glimpses they get. People used to wonder who he could be inside, but now, everyone disregards him. He is seen as an outcast from the norm to which they all respect and follow. No one cares to see anything outside of that. Those who created the shell which he now hides in look only forward with no regret. They don’t even realize what they have done. Even after seeing him for what he was, they now only see the lie they cast around him. Few people care anymore. No one cares about that which is unseen. That boy, closed away, is indeed unseen. Because he is hidden.
