I asked God

A knock at the door, but no one is there.
The phone rings, but no one is on the line.
An envelope arrives in the mail, but it is empty.
My fever was high
My spirit was low
I was very sad
when I saw some one standing before me , smiling a beautiful smile
His appearance gave my frail body a tremendous strength
You called me my child?
If you are God as I think you are , Yes I called you.
What do you want my child ?

I want you to remove my pain , my fever
I cannot take away your pain my child , it is for you to give it up
Then give me happiness, the happiness is locked within you , replied God.
Dwell within yourself and find it out.
Then at least make me wealthy , I said.
The world is full of treasures go explore and get them for yourself
If nothing at least give me strength to bear my sufferings
God replied , ' you have to build your own strength 'I will help you conserve it .

But at least you can give me a heart
which is as large as a sky,
as deep as a ocean
as clear as a mirror
as beautiful as a flower
as loving as a mother .

Ah ! replied God ,
' You have at last asked me to give you the right thing..
