A poem for the love of my life
You had me at hello,
but never goodbye.
Because goodbye can lead to forgetting,
and forgetting can lead to heartbreak.

You are the love of my life.
The light at the end of a dark tunnel.
The melody to my song.
The beat of my heart.

You're the right reason for everything.
I knew I found the right one,
who could push me to be a better me.
Who could drive me to succeed.

When I look at you,
I can't help but smile
cuz you're already staring back at me.
The way I catch you staring at me,
can't no words describe what I feel.
Because it's all so unreal.
Your body pressed against mine,
Is the greatest feeling in the world.
Your touch is electrifying
And there's no way I can deny it.

Never had a love like this before.
Never felt love this strong before.
Baby you're my kryptonite;
my strongest weakness.

The best and greatest love,
doesn't come easy.
I'm learning to appreciate what I have
and cherish our time spent together.

Seconds,
minutes,
and hours pass.
And as days go by and by,
my love for you grows stronger and stronger.

It's the little things you say,
that makes me love you harder.
And it's the certain things you do,
that make the feelings stronger.

I pray and hope you never leave my life.
I would walk a thousand miles,
just to see you smile.
I would leave everything behind,
and run away,
just to wake up next to you every day.
You bring me up when I'm feeling down.
You make me feel like a queen,
the only thing I'm missing is my crown.

I'm stuck under your spell,
I'm hypnotized as you can see.
I fell in love with an amazing woman.
I thank God every day,
for bringing you in my life.
I'll forever be thankful,
to have you with me.
Baby, I love you times infinity.
