Imagine

I have always liked this song, but now it is an integral part of my life. My daughter Pam, died at the young age of 40. She loved John Lennon and his songs, but Imagine was her very favorite. When she died I asked the Preacher to play this song at her Memorial. He hesitated and then told me those songs were not played in church. After meeting with him we left. We had requested one other song she sung to her baby boy.

At her Memorial we had slides showing of her from being born to becoming a mom herself. This blessed Preacher had the song played and it touched all of us.

I believe this song should be sung in churches all over because it tells us how it could have been.
