both be still standing here, forsaken
lies cast away;
Instead of,
I make walls of my weaknesses, ramparts
of augured angst.

Glint in your eyes, in hindsight,sharp
knives.
Your laughter: machiavellian whispers,
secret , inveigling plans, designs:

burnt matchsticks
thrown in my face;
hot, still.
resigned sigh;

Moons and days:Your leeway
to act out,
sick traumas,
galvanized dioramas,

lost,
years of a child;
selfish,
fearful dramas.

We cannot move on, in our ennui,
