As I hugged her goodbye, I couldn't help but wonder, will I ever see her again? We had such a good time with everything we did. Walks, dinners, sunsets, long talks until 2 a.m., I was really going to miss it all. We've been together since sophomore year. Now she's going to California to go to college. I will be working in my dad's shop and going to the local community college. She was smarter than me, I won't deny it. But she loved me, the reason behind that I was unsure. Maybe it was because I make her laugh, maybe I am easy to talk to I don't know. All I know is that she loves me and I love her. I also know that time changes people. I worried that she would find someone else. Someone who made her happy in a way I couldn't. I prayed that wouldn't happen, but there wasn't much I could do. All I could do was keep working on myself and be there for her no matter what. I gave her one last kiss, one last "I love you" and as I watched her get in her mom's car and drive away, I know this wasn't going to be the last time I would see her.
