Don't blame me
It's not my fault
That you were led astray

But you went first
And I went next
Twas you showed me the way

But Adam dear
Was it not you
Who said "An apple a day?"

Not that one Eve
The Lord was clear
The sign said "Keep Away!"

Your friend the snake
He made me err
You should have known his ways

My friend Eve?
