Abraham Lincoln

Lincoln was born February 12, 1809 in Hodgepodge Kentucky. He grew up less fortunate and had very little education. Thomas and Nancy Hanks Lincoln were the parents of Abraham.  He had to siblings Sarah who died January 20, 1828, while giving birth to a stillborn baby boy. Thomas was Abraham’s younger brother, but sadly died three days after his birth in 1812.  October 5, 1818 his mother died from milk sickness when Abraham was nine years old. His father left him and his sister alone, while he was away searching for a wife.
