While at the beach, Isabelle and her younger sister Eden are caught in a rip-tide. Little do the humans trying to rescue them realize, the girls have their own secret to keep them afloat until they land on Destruction Island.

Destruction island is inhabited by Selkies, shape changing seals. There are many of them who are violently opposed to the two human girls knowing of their existance. As the ancient lore of the Selkies clashes with the modern world, someone is going to get hurt.

I'm a retired school teacher. I've been published in two newspapers with article about the civil war in El Salvador and the evacuation from Galveston during Hurricane Ike.
