Broken

Will you provide me with that essence that I seek,

Of life and love and experience?

Will you let me have you,

Or will my heart and soul not be enough?

Will you turn me in and out,

Find me to be broken and return me?


Can an erupting volcano meet the sky without blackness?

Can my erupting heart meet yours without a similar experience?

Can you not see that I love you?

Cherish you?

Will you finally see,

Or will you find me to be broken

And ship me back, useless cargo?
