My little girl went to sleep And dreamed of lemon drops,
Lemon Drops

My little girl went to sleep
And dreamed of lemon drops,
She dreamed of ice cream cones,
Curly fries and soda pop,
She dreamed of popcorn balls,
Santa Clause and candy canes,
She even dreamed she rode
On a magic Christmas train,
Her dreams seemed to never stop,
But she always dreamed of
Lemon drops.

She dreamed of rainbows in the sky,
She dreamed of pretty ribbon bows,
Even dreamed of little butterflies,
She dreamed of this, she dreamed of that,
She dreamed about most everything,
And that’s a proven fact,
Her dreams seemed to never stop,
But she always and I mean always,
She dreamed of lemon drops.
