Yearning for soul talk,
But distracted,
Tuned out, filled up
By mores and oh yeses and don’t stops

Beautiful blue,
Searching with good intentions,
On a mission to find a true reflection – meaningful connection-
But glazed over,
Hungry with lust and something – darker.
