A place I once did live
A place I once did live
As a child full of joy and play
Happy memories flood back
Though with added tears

But memories overshadow
A place I once did live
With solid cores of sadness
A secret domain of poverty

Death stories - just a slice
Of a child’s pure innocence
A place I once did live
This home I knew, in reverse

Lake Malawi full of beauty
A lake to hold all the woes
Yet they all dance and smile
A place I once did live
