And I won't give up
There's a wilderness we've yet to weather,
A famed and unmasked foe.
There are mountain cliffs and dangerous rifts,
And valleys down below.

The desert sand will eat the land,
Our thirst will cause our woe.
And many things could strike us dead;
These seeds I dare not sow.

I fear the dark and unknown things,
What if their power grows?
I'm terrified to face these threats;
My face I dare not show.

But hand in hand with you, my love,
There is nowhere I won't go.
