"Measure seven times, cut once." this is the literal translation of one of the famous Russian proverbs. These words remind us that we must carefully plan our life in a thorough manner before we take any action. If we do not look carefully before we leap, then we will not be able to reverse the consequences of our actions.
Many a time, being careless leads to regrets in life later. If we overlook things without planning and then take actions, then there are high chances that we may get adversely affected by the consequences of our own unplanned actions. By the time we realize our faults, our other valuable resources, such as time and money, would have got wasted. Understand that the journey of life is a unique journey gifted to us only once, and the time we waste will never come back to us.
Unfortunately, most people spend too little time planning. They jump into actions, and then later, they regret about their deeds. What's the point regretting about your decisions or actions when you have spent very little time planning? Remember that it is important to spend time planning before you take any action or decision, so that there is no regret that your life has been wasted even for a moment.
