Fresh Start

Have you ever had a bad start to your day? Did you wish you could go back and start it over again? I had one of those this morning. My attitude seemed to get worse as each hurdle seemed to get worse as each seemed determined to ruin my day. Then I stepped outside and sat in the quiet of God's creation. Allowing God to speak to me and let me know that it is okay to have some rough starts but to not allow them to dictate how the rest of my day will unfold. He reminded me that He is in control of my life not my circumstances or other people. But that His hand is in mine. If I put my focus back on Him things in my life will come back into alignment. The sun will shine again and I'll be able to focus on the good that is going on in my life instead of the bad. When we put our trust in Him we will never be disappointed.
