True Perseverance

"True Perseverance"

I see the shallow waters dividing apart;

And all of the things that once existed in my heart.

The time has come and taken place;

For world domination will occur in your face.

What's left behind is our pride;

We keep running,but there is no place to hide.

Comparing my world between yours;

Is not the way to interrogate me to lure.

The past,pleasures,and pain that we inherit;

Is the opening truth that we'll never forget.

I've watched the world turn its attention away from me;

And rejected my most precious entries.

The confusing moments of our innermost person;

Has been released and is fed up and done.

The silent dreams that occur inside of my head;

Are the fantasies that torture me while I'm lying in bed.

Bring back the times when I was still a child;

I remember how the surroundings were so much milder.

That little inspiration inside of me beats;

But out in the crowd,it shows that I'm weak.

Our darkest secrets have been revealed;

Even though I had them locked up and sealed.

We all have a serial killer that lives within us;

And nobody knows,so we're the only ones who can trust.
