I received both CDs by Amazon Cloud download on the day of Michael's Xscape CD release in May of 2014. I listened to McCartney's 14 tracks once before I downloaded Xscape. I'd forgotten how I used to get comfortable with a new album--when new music came plastic sealed, cardboard arted, as a piece of vinyl from the nearest record store (or store that sold records).
Singer sewing machine stores sold records in the 1960s. This review will include a Baby Boomer walk down Memory Lane.
My first McCartney flashes are Paul dealing with porn, ever so softly and gently in "On My Way to Work," and my admiration for his symbolism in "Alligator." I raise my glass to Sir Paul for talking about a penis without being offensive. I dare a rapper to even try! Kudos to Paul.
