-A Prophets Warning- by Keaton Foster A prophets warning Follow me or fail Like those brave few Stand at my alter As your world The one so beloved Crumbles at your feet Trust my words Even if they contradict What’s happening Find the good book Crack yourself Over the head with it If there are any others Those within proximity Questioning your reason Take that same book The good one And beat them to death Thou shalt not kill Horseshit Murder those unlike you Those unlike us Send them to hell A first class ticket At the front of the ride A direct departure From this life Right into the grave Hold no shame Feel no guilt Just do as I say I’m not God Just a close facsimile His image set askew I once walked amongst Now I hide in plain sight I once stood in the light Now I exist in the shadows Belief and commitment Are all that I require Avail yourself to me And my illogical ideas And you will somehow Truly be saved Not from yourself But from one And each other A prophets warning A serious inquisition Pay the price Whatever I require I’ll redeem your soul Give you the sum Of its intrinsic value Then I’ll enslave you to ashes Ask yourself and all else Am I the darkness Or am I the light In between is where I reside Just like you my sacred child Your siblings must stay in line Your kin must further abide A prophets warning Follow me of fail As those brave few Stand at my alter As your world The one so beloved Crumbles at your feet Trust my words Even if they contradict What’s happening Believe in me As I do all that I can To believe in you least of all Follow my words as truth Even if every one is a lie The son of the master Is a fictitious character A made up being Meant to further an agenda The one written in the good book The same book that I command you To use in a way set to violence Do as I say and make others Do as you and I wish Make them see things As our idea of truth...
