Ode to Sunsets

A shimmering shine showers the sky as the sun sets.
Luminous colors enlighten my sight.
The most perfect time of day:
Sunset.
From crimson as bright as fire
To a soft, glowing gold.
Blue, clear as the ocean
And a royal violet to complete the mix.
This magnificent show steals my breath.
Enticing all of my attention
Is the array of rainbow lights that fill the sky;
A vivacious feeling fills me when I see
A Sunset.
