Am I a Believer

Why are we here breathing the morning air

as we drive to work or school every day.

Blind to the breathtaking wonders

that lies beneath the cracks of our illusions.

What proof do we have that this is a world of god,

where did faith come from and how do you obtain it.

Is heaven real or has our imagination

and belief run wild through our minds

Creating hope and faith 

when it's really just air

Besides what history has written for us

where is the evidence that god did smite the wicked.

I'm not saying I don't believe in him, I want to have faith;

I'm just questioning his realism, I'm questioning a lot of things nowadays
