About how love, no matter how great, can remain as purely love for friends. Unsaid though. |
When Love Explodes (A Man Like You) Those eyes full of humor and love for me, That white smile you've given so freely, A smile that makes me think I have value. I wonder if I will ever find a man like you. Is that sincere concern in your eyes I read? Is this the joy for so long I have had plead? May this thing between us forever breed. In bonding through time may we succeed. I am so undeserving of this gift you've given, Thank God for leading me to you back then. Such unflappable compassion and so true I wonder if I will ever find a man like you. After all those hardships and all those times, You can still make me do a poem that rhymes. When together with you I'm not blue, I wonder if I will ever find a man like you. After being together through life's mysteries, I can now say that all the failures and victories, All the bad times and the good and funny anecdotes, Are all so much more worth it when love explodes. |
