Take me away form here
Steal me far away from here,
Into the night unknown.
Break the silence of my heart;
Unstitch what heartache's sewn.

The wind caresses all the leaves,
Enticing them to follow.
The moon will beckon swaying trees,
To bend their branches, sallow.

I know I'll find it in the night,
That thing for which I yearn.
It's somewhere in the distance now;
I see the fire burn.

So steal me far away from here,
Into this night unknown.
For out there somewhere there is freedom;
Out there I am home.
