Unholy Retribution

"You are in sin."  yelled Pastor Morley pointing at Pastor Gurlick. 

"I feel just as holy today as I did yesterday when you ranted the same thing."  yelled Pastor Gurlick raising his bible. 

"That bible that you raise has no truth."  said Pastor Morley walking back and forth. 

"Your message is full of hypocrisy."  said Pastor Gurlick closing the gate to his church, Full Brethren Fellowship.

"You don't know the truth."  said Pastor Morley sneering at Pastor Gurlick.  "My church, Grace Community knows the truth." 

"I will burn down your place of heathenism."  exclaimed Pastor Gurlick stepping off the curb.  "My church is the only one with substance."

"Your idea of substance is what fills a donut."  said Pastor Morley crossing the street so that he could come face to face with Pastor Gurlick. 

"You may want to stay on that side."  said Pastor Gurlick raising his hands in disgust.  "Something may happen to you." 

"Don't worry about me." yelled Pastor Morley looking at Pastor Gurlick.  "I will go to heaven when its my time." 

"I don't think there is any room up there for a moonshine maker."  said Pastor Gurlick waiting for Pastor Morley to come closer. 

Both pastors almost kissed each other as they came face to face. 

"God will strike you dead before the day is done."  said Pastor Morley closing his bible. 

"Do you think you are God's messenger to hand down judgement?"  asked Pastor Gurlick breathing hard. 

Pastor Morley made a thrusting movement towards Pastor Gurlick's chest.  Pastor Gurlick grabbed at his chest, and fell to the pavement. 

"Pastor Gurlick, you are pardoned from your sin."  said Pastor Morley bending down pulling the knife out of Pastor Gurlick's chest.  "I'm not the messenger, but my knife is." 

The sun glinted off the blade revealing letters as Pastor Morley wiped the blood off onto Pastor Gurlick's suit coat.  The letters said Messenger of death.
