'Twas a strange affection I felt.
The first meeting was like a dream,
I'm still not convinced it's true.
But I remember the taste of that chocolate ice cream,
And that the sky was cornflower blue.

'Twas a strange affection I felt,
From the moment we first met.
In your sweeping gaze I thought I'd melt,
Your eyes were so hard to forget.

I watched as you got out of your car,
I smiled as you waved at your friends.
I wondered about you from afar,
I wanted my wait to end.

'Twas a strange affection I sensed,
The first time I stood close to you.
Our connection was so intense,
But our meetings were so few.

I watched as you walked past me in school,
I frowned as you smiled widely at her.
Did you think she was more beautiful?
I'll make sure your vision's clear.

"'Twas a strange affection," I mused,
As I grabbed the sharpest knife I could find.
She begged for mercy, but I was amused,
I'd only carved out her eyes and took a picture; I was very kind.

I watched as you opened your locker,
I smiled when you turned green and screamed.
She wasn't beautiful anymore in that picture,
You'll regret that you ever beamed.

"'Twas a strange affection," I contemplated,
As the men in blue took me away.
Don't they understand that we were fated?
Don't you worry, I'll make sure that they pay.

I watched as you looked at me,
I frowned as you threw up on the ground.
Don't you worry, I'll be back in a jiffy,
We'll never be separated for you and I are bound.

It's a strange affection I feel,
When I run from the men in blue.
I smile as I climb up your window sill,
You know how much I love you.
