Snappy Pappy is happy for sure
He's dancing his way across my hardwood floor
He's giggling and laughing a smile on his face
Leaving scratches behind him which can't be erased
He tapped through the kitchen and down through the hall
And pretended to slow dance with the dining room wall
He spun and he jumped doing ballet up the stairs
He danced and he danced like he had no cares
He did a pole dance with my office door frame
And a jazzy little jig of which I couldn't name
Down from my room he tangoed and clogged
And then he even stopped to do the downward dog
He did the twist and he salsa'd a bit
And then a burlesque routine which was a big hit
But when he freestyled to a hip hoppy beat
Poor old pappy tripped over his own two feet
Then he tumbled and crumbled right onto the floor
And now Snappy Pappy ain't happy no more
