stepping into tomorrow
has faith
becoming the created
Death called
to live was uncomfortable
pain mauled
and twisted it up inside

Wrong place
it beckoned, fingers grasping
upraised
the sparse soul it's demanding
Dying
though it began when it lived
crying
seeping into nothingness

Brave knock
upon doors of the arcane
they mock
sibilant silent solace
unlocked
the key found to bear the stain

fusing
devoured, cavernously groomed
losing
lost, ravenously consumed.
