Secrets, Wombs and Tombs

I am not dazed or amazed

At pyramids built in sand

Nor do stones from the moon

In glass-enclosed cases dazzle me

I comprehend it all too well,

Too often and too much –


But I also know I know nothing at all

In a brilliant and dazzling way –

My questions are my secrets

And my secrets fill the womb

Until the womb and all that’s in it…….



Becomes an unmarked tomb
