a jerk hurts a girl
Breathe in…breath out. That’s what I had to tell myself as I looked at this ignorant pepperoni spotted face of boy in front of me. I had to control myself from erupting like an active volcano. He had found a way to destroy every cell of patience left in my body. He made me a bull ready to charge at the matador. It took a lifetime before I finally spoke the words that have stayed stuck in the back of my throat. “Why didn’t you tell me?!” I snapped at him. A jerk-smirk crossed his face and he just burst into a fit of laughter. “How was I supposed to know?” he breathed out in between fits. I raised my hand and gave him what he deserved. I shut him up, leaving him standing there looking bewildered and confused. He did have that coming to him. My eyes began to precipitate as I got further and further away from him. The wind began to make my hair tangle as I pushed myself to move faster. The faster I went, the more distance I got between him and me. I shouldn’t have had to hear that from someone else. I should have heard it from him himself. I have a right to be furious. He had a right to get what I handed him. He didn’t have to do that to me. He didn’t. I gave him everything just so he could blow it up in my face apparently! I gave him my all and all he did was cheat on me and throw my heart into the trash…and then laugh about it! And I had to hear it from her! I took a long run off a short pier…and now I cant tell a tear from a drop of water.
