It was time that I had a long conversation with God on a heart to heart basis.
A CONVERSATION WITH GOD

I walked into the garden one morning
as the sun rose above the tall pines.
My world had fallen down around me,
my face was marked by worry lines.

My tears came very often and easy,
I didn't know just which way to turn.
It was then that I heard His soft voice
speak of lessons I needed to learn.

"Good Morning, God" I whispered,
not expecting any real kind of reply
"Good morning, my child" he answered,
with a smile and a twinkle in His eye.

"Things have often been troubling you,
and the reason you are crying alone
is that you've forgetten to trust in me,
you forgot that I am the way HOME!"

"God, you know my heart and trouble,
I know that surely you can understand.
How do I pick up the pieces and go on?
Life sure is not the way that I planned."

"In my seventy-seventh year I struggle
with the death of a daughter and then,
I try to cope with a son who's in trouble,
and who may be taken from me again."

"You have to learn to let go and let me,
for I have plans for his salvation and cure,.
and your daughter is with me in Heaven,
there is no need to be sad or insecure."

God's light shone around him, as golden,
and a peace entered my heart and soul.
"I trust in you, God" I whispered to him,
"will you welcome me back to your fold?"

God took me in his arms and told me
that I would never be alone when I pray.
"I will be with you through eternity, child,
be it the dark of night or the sun of day."

"Thank you, dear God, for being here.
I know that I have been truly blessed..
I will never doubt in your guiding light,
you are the guardian of eternal rest."
