The world as I know it has betrayed me.

The world as I know it has betrayed me. To what end I still do not know. Everywhere I look I see despair and desperation. Friends and family in disarray scrambling to hold on to whatever they can. Lives uprooted and striped of human dignity. Pride is left for the fools who cling to antiquated ideals.

The masses cry out for relief yet none is offered. Those that have abandon those that have not. The new dark ages approach. The world sits perched on the edge of chaos and destruction. Can humanity pull itself together and survive this new manufactured threat. Or will it all come crumbling down upon its self.

How can so few control so many? How have we been so easily deceived? How is it possible that our lives have been reduced to simple 1’s and 0’s in a computer? Our net worth tied to a digital blip on a computer screen. Why do we continue to allow ourselves to be governed by the value of a digitized dollar bill? Our path is unsustainable and our destination is unclear. Is this the way all great civilizations crumbled under the weight of its own prosperity? Lifting the few by striping the weak, those that have pray we do not to recognize the means by which they have amassed their great wealth.

We have made them who they are but now have they grown so that we are unable to strip them of what they have become? When all has been taken from you what do you have left to strike back with? What tool or device exists that could be wielded to promote equality and fairness?

Do they not realize that even the smallest cog or gear in a clock breaks the clock can no longer accurately tell time? Do they really think we don’t matter? When we have nothing who will continue to support their lifestyle? When all is lost to the masses what will prop them up? When you have exhausted all of your resources what will you have left? The poor like the planet cannot be depleted without affecting the entire system. Their time is coming, whether they realize it or not the greedy cannot continue to feed once the food has run out.
