Down on the ground, you don't want to get up
and your eyes they want to stay shut.
Your heart is broken
harsh words were spoken.
You don't wanna go on
because your passion is now gone

But God is here
to face with you all that you fear.
Above he is not found
because he is here on the ground
He takes you by the hand
and plays with you in the sand.

He can't be described in the best of rhymes.
He is with you through the darkest of times.
So don't give up on what makes you smile
even if you cry once a while.

So now i say pick up your pride
because in him you can confide.
You should never give up
and on you He shall never give up
