The small metal locker room vibrated alongside the thunderous bellow of the crowd from outside. The ryhthmic, deep buzz traveled through twenty four ears, though the owners themselves made no noise. Twelve young men, all of different heights and body shapes, waited. Some shaking, others still, but breathing heavily. The silence in the room loomed over them like a thick blanket. Finally, like the blanket had been removed and the boys felt a burden off their shoulders, the silence was broken by a rip and slap of tape. The boy with the tape had started at the bottom of his knee, and was slowly working his way up. The tape eventually overlapped to cover his whole knee with a nice ridge like pattern. He looked up as one of his teammates spoke. "I heard three of their starters got division one scholarships" The boy said, almost timidly, like it may not be the right time to bring up such a matter. However, he felt at ease when another boy tying a shoe answered. "Simon, your just getting everyone nervous. But do you know their names?" Simon's long body stood to relieve his bum from the wooden bench he had been sitting on. His head was fairly close to the metal pipes that draped from the ceiling. He looked over to the boy with the tape. "Jack, do you know anything about these guys?" Jack put his tape aside and looked up from between two slightly sun burned, cut shoulders that stuck out of his jersey. His brown and slightly blonde straight hair flowed to one side. He stood to make it easier to put his foot in his shoe. Jack was shorter than Simon, with a broader body. "I think we'll just have to wait to hear from coach. I know Blade Thomas is one of their best players." Simon wide eyed, asked "Do you know how tall he is?" A small smile creeped on Jack's lips. "About 6'10 I've heard
