The illusion
Life is merely a journey
Time, the unappointed guide
Leading birth to death
The robust takes more steps
The weak lacks behind
Every day of existence
Brings us ever closer
To the same destination

As lofty as a king, as lowly as a beggar
Who can escape this inevitable fate?
Just be prepared when death knocks
Leave not behind remorse, unfulfilled dreams
Wave goodbye cheerfully to this journey
and say hello to the next...
