a poem about loneliness
I’m sitting alone,
Please do not console
With dreams of a kiss
And hope of some bliss
I’m unsound and unsafe
My emotions are chafed,
With chains of formality
And unbridled hate.

I guess it’s a phase
When my head’s all ablaze
With thoughts of sweet smiles
And the love-wasted days.
All the motion around me
All the people surround me
They’re all so mysterious
With secrets abounding
I’m an enigma encrypted
With thoughts all unlisted
I don’t know my friends
And my love comes out twisted
I look through darkly framed lenses
My fellows grab my hands,
And say come to your senses!
While fantasies haunt me
Fall upon me like hounds…
I think I know love but only by it’s sound.
Don’t you dare ask me questions!
Don’t follow my lead!
You won’t like the answers
Stuck in you like seeds

It’s all melodrama
No one will bleed, not ever.
But I know exactly what I will need.
A hand through someone’s hair,
A smile, a half second that lasts forever
A moment to believe.
