BLACK NIGHT

it was a cold and chilly night. the earth shivered in its thick layered white blanket. creosote bushes and pine trees stood still,frozen , ready to collapse any time. the surroundings burned with the mighty swaying of ice laden chiding winds from the EVEREST , making its way among marshall neil roses , igloos and candle lighted camps. exactly like the dementors , gliding , sucking out warmth from your soul the winds continued. the research team flag swayed mightily enjoying the due respect the winds gave it, unaware of the plight and pain they caused to its team



THE DULL NIGHT CONTINUED...........

1 AM:

      everything was still and as usual quite monotonous. the candle lighted camps showed no shadows of its occupants.....except for the sound....that seemed to come from faraway....a low pitched, sizzling  and murmuring sound , anyone aware of it might have looked up at the emotionless sky , for suddenly the sky was alighted brightly , sparkling diamond like appearance spread through the sky"s carpet......WAS IT A DIVINE INTERVENTION??....the brightly lit sky let the remarks lay unanswered for sonn, a comet with its rainbow coloured tail started towards the earth...........



yes..."HALLEY'S COMET"  only to be seen in a lifetime of a single person once in 70 yrs....surely charlie and her team would have been elated to witness this historical and scientifically memorable sight......it landed with a sound like an approaching hurricane a few miles away..



if only the "WINDS" "WEATHER" had granted their only wish...their life,  their achievement.....haleys comet.....



LIFELESS FLESHES IN DEAD CAMPS, BARELY RECOGNIZABLE BUT A GENTLE SMILE ON HER DEAD FACE, ANXIOUS TO WITNESS, CONFIDENT OF HER VICTORY.........



IF ONLY HE SPARED HER FOR SHE SPURNED HIS LOVE.......\
